Who we are

The World Investment Exchange Office ("WIEO", "we", "us", "our") is a private international investment and FDI facilitation advisory operated by [legal entity name], a company registered in [jurisdiction] under company number [number], registered office [address].

Our work is to connect national and regional investment promotion agencies (IPAs), government authorities and project sponsors with qualified international investors, family offices, investment companies, strategic corporate investors and private investors. We identify investment-ready projects, test them commercially, and introduce them to investors whose stated mandate fits. We are currently developing our international investor network and remain a commercial intermediary throughout.

What we are not

To avoid any misunderstanding about our status, WIEO is not:

• a securities exchange, trading venue, multilateral or organised trading facility, listing venue or market operator of any kind, whether or not the word "exchange" appears in our name;
• a broker, dealer, broker-dealer, placement agent or licensed securities intermediary;
• a fund, fund manager, alternative investment fund manager, portfolio manager or collective investment scheme;
• an investment adviser, financial adviser or provider of regulated investment advice;
• a bank, credit institution, e-money or payment institution, custodian, trustee or escrow agent;
• an insurance, tax, legal or accounting practice;
• a government body, ministry, sovereign agency or official investment promotion agency, and not the official representative of any state unless a specific mandate is disclosed to you in writing.

Our name refers to the exchange of information and introductions between projects and capital. It does not describe a market, a platform on which instruments are traded, or any regulated activity.

We do not take investments

WIEO does not accept investments. We do not solicit, receive, pool, hold, manage, deploy, transfer or safeguard investor money or assets, and we do not operate client accounts, escrow accounts or nominee structures.

All capital moves directly between the investor and the project, sponsor, escrow provider, bank, notary or authority chosen by the parties themselves, on documentation negotiated between them and their own advisers. Our fees are invoiced separately and only under a signed engagement.

No member of our team will ever ask you to send funds, cryptocurrency or account credentials to WIEO or to any individual for the purpose of making an investment. Any such request should be treated as fraudulent and reported to [email protected].

No offer and no solicitation

This website, our project summaries, teasers, research notes, presentations and emails are provided for general information and preliminary assessment of fit only. They are not, and must not be construed as:

• an offer, invitation or recommendation to buy, sell or subscribe for any security, share, unit, debt instrument, participation or other investment;
• a prospectus, offering memorandum, private placement memorandum, information memorandum or financial promotion;
• an inducement to enter into any investment activity or transaction.

Where a project is ultimately offered for investment, it is offered by the sponsor or issuer, on the sponsor's or issuer's own documentation and responsibility, and subject to the laws of the relevant jurisdiction. WIEO is not a party to that offer.

No investment or professional advice

Nothing we publish or say constitutes investment, legal, tax, regulatory, immigration, accounting or valuation advice, and no material is tailored to your financial situation, objectives, tax position or risk tolerance. Our consulting, research and matchmaking services are commercial services, not regulated advisory services.

Obtain independent advice from appropriately licensed professionals in your own jurisdiction and in the jurisdiction of the project before committing capital or signing anything.

Information and third-party material

Most of the information we circulate originates with third parties: IPAs, ministries, development authorities, project sponsors, developers, operators, local advisers and public data sources. We pass it on in good faith after commercial screening, but we do not audit it, and we give no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to its accuracy, completeness, currency or suitability.

Figures, incentive packages, tax holidays, subsidies, grants, land availability, permits, timelines and cost benchmarks change. Eligibility for any state incentive is determined solely by the competent authority, not by us. Sector and market statistics on this website are indicative and provided for orientation only.

Due diligence and risk

Every project is subject to your own independent due diligence — commercial, financial, legal, technical, tax, environmental and reputational. An introduction from us is not a recommendation, an endorsement, a credit opinion, a valuation, or confirmation that a project, sponsor or counterparty is solvent, honest, licensed or suitable for you.

Foreign direct investment involves substantial risk, including total loss of capital. Risks include, without limitation: illiquidity and long hold periods; construction, execution and operational failure; sponsor and counterparty default; currency movement and capital controls; political, regulatory, expropriation and sanctions risk; withdrawal or reinterpretation of incentives; and title, permitting and enforcement risk. Past performance of any sector, market or sponsor is not a guide to future results, and no return, yield, exit, residence right, citizenship, licence or approval is promised or guaranteed by us.

Forward-looking statements

Jurisdictional limits

This website is not directed at any person in any jurisdiction where its publication or availability would be contrary to local law, or would require us to hold a licence, registration or authorisation we do not hold.

Our services are intended for institutional, professional, corporate and high-net-worth counterparties acting in a business capacity, and for public-sector bodies. They are not intended for retail consumers. You are responsible for confirming that your engagement with us, and any resulting transaction, is lawful where you are.

When a client relationship begins

Visiting this website, submitting the enquiry form, sending us a project or mandate, or exchanging preliminary correspondence does not create a client, agency, partnership, joint-venture or fiduciary relationship, and does not oblige us to act for you or to keep any mandate open.

We act for you only once a written engagement letter or mandate agreement has been signed by both sides. Until then no duty of care, exclusivity or fee entitlement arises on either side. We may act for multiple projects and multiple investors in the same sector or market at the same time, subject to the confidentiality undertakings in our terms and conditions.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WIEO, its operating entity, officers, employees, advisers and agents accept no liability for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental or consequential, or for lost profit, lost opportunity, lost data or business interruption — arising from use of this website, from reliance on information we provide, from any introduction we make, or from any transaction, project, sponsor or counterparty you deal with.

We do not warrant that this website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of malicious code. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Liability caps applying to engaged clients are set out in clause 18 of our terms and conditions.

Governing law
